Warning: The electric cooling fan may turn on at any time, even if the ignition is off. When working near the fan, turn off the power to the fan or disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.

1. Unlike manual steering, the reliability of the power steering system depends on the working fluid, which must be periodically topped up.

2. The power steering pump fluid reservoir is located on the inner apron near the front of the engine.

6.2. The power steering filler cap/dipstick is located on the left side of the engine compartment to fill the fluid or check its level, unscrew the cap

3. During the check, the front wheels should be in a straight-ahead position and the engine should be turned off.

4. Wipe the tank cap and the area around the cap with a clean cloth to prevent foreign particles from entering the system.

5. Remove the cover and pay attention to the dipstick attached to it.

6. Wipe the dipstick with a rag, reinsert it, remove it again and determine the fluid level. The fluid level should be between the MIN and MAX marks. The level should not fall below the MIN mark.

7. If the fluid level is too low, add the specified fluid type directly into the reservoir using a funnel.

8. If the fluid needs to be topped up too often, check all power steering hoses, fittings and the pump for leaks.
