Checking the fluid level in the power steering reservoir (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Place the car on a level horizontal surface, start the engine and turn the steering wheel several times until the fluid temperature rises to approximately 50-60°C.

2. With the engine running, turn the steering wheel several times to the right and left until it stops.

3. Check that the liquid in the tank is not cloudy or foaming. Check the difference in fluid levels in the power steering reservoir with the engine running and not running. If this difference exceeds 5 mm, it is necessary to remove air from the hydraulic system.
