10.1 To check the clutch pedal free play, measure the distance between the free position of the pedal and the position where resistance begins to be felt
2. While working in the engine compartment, turn the cable housing adjusting nut (located where the cable passes through the cross bulkhead) until the clearance between the nut and the insulator lug is within specification
10.2. Adjust the clutch pedal free play by turning the cable adjusting nut until the required clearance is obtained
3. Check the free play again. Repeat the adjustment if necessary.
