The wires are changed, or at least checked after 80,000 km or 5 years.
1. Remove the wire by holding the tip.
2. Check for corrosion, cracks and traces of burning on the insulation, and the tightness of the wire fit.
3. Check the wire resistance. If the resistance of the spark plug wires is higher than 30,000 Ohms, and the wires from the ignition coil are higher than 15,000 Ohms, then replace the wires.
4. Place the new wires in the mounting brackets, exactly along their route.
