Installing the crankshaft oil seal



1. Place a special guide sleeve (3) on the shaft, lubricating its outer surface with engine oil.

2. Using the mandrel (4), press the new seal into the cover body.



Installing the front top cover oil seal



The seal is pressed in using a mandrel of suitable diameter (for example, a nut head) (see Fig. M2 2.122).
