Replacing the rear bearing of the right balance shaft (Mitsubishi L200 4)

The bearing is replaced using a special washer (1) (see Fig. M2 2.116), installed on the cylinder block and pullers (2 and 3) (see Fig. M2 2.117 and M2 2.118), as shown in the figures.

Bearing removal

1. Install the thrust washer (1) on the cylinder block.



2. Using the puller (2), remove the bearing.

Bearing installation

1. Lubricate the new bearing and the bore in the block with a small amount of engine oil.
