Front Bottom Cover
The surface of the case must not have any cracks, chips or other damage.
The oil pump rotors must rotate without jamming and have appropriate clearances.
The internal surfaces (housing and oil pump cover) in contact with the gears must not show any signs of wear.
Balance shafts
1. Check that the oil holes are not clogged.
2. Check the surfaces of the shaft journals and bearings for wear and tear.
3. Check the clearances in the shaft bearings.
Nominal values of clearances in shaft bearings:
- front right bearing - 0.02-0.05 mm;
- front left bearing - 0.02-0.06 mm;
- rear bearings - 0.06-0.10 mm.

Oil pump clearances
After installing the outer and inner rotors, check the clearance between the tooth ridges.
The standard gap value is 0.11-0.24 mm.

The standard gap value is 0.04-0.10 mm.

Check the clearance between the housing and the outer gear.
- The standard gap value is 0.10-0.18 mm;
- The maximum permissible value is 0.35 mm.
