- Thoroughly clean joints and surrounding surfaces before disconnecting.
- Place dismantled parts on a clean lining and cover. Use film or paper, do not use rags with lint!
- During breaks in repair work, open structural elements should be covered or plugged with a rag.
- Install only clean parts.
- Remove parts from packaging immediately before installation.
- Do not install parts that have been stored without packaging (e.g. in a tool box).
- If possible, do not work with compressed air when the fuel system is open, so that foreign particles do not get into the system. If possible, do not move the car.
