Removal and installation
− The parts are removed in the order of the numbers indicated in the figure "Removing trims and moldings".
Removal trims and moldings (sedan). 1 - Roof water drain molding, 2 - Triangular panel, 3 - Front bumper molding cover, 4 - Front bumper molding, 5 - Front bumper trim, 6 - Front wing molding, 7 - Front side door molding, 8 - Rear side door molding, 9 - Side molding, 10 - Rear bumper molding cover, 11 - Rear bumper molding (remove the rear bumper assembly), 12 - Rear bumper trim.

- When removing parts, pay attention to the following operations:
1. Removing the roof drainage molding.
To remove the molding, pry it up using a special tool.
Attention: if the molding is deformed during removal, its reinstallation is not permitted.

2. Removing the side molding.
a) After removing the molding, apply masking tape on both sides, along the remainder of the double-sided adhesive tape.

b) Remove any remaining double-sided adhesive tape from the body surface and from the inner surface of the side molding (for reinstallation).
c) Scrape off the double-sided tape using a rubber spatula or scraper.


− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- When installing the parts, pay attention to the operation of installing the side molding.
Note: Double sided tape adheres to side molding (when reinstalling).
a) Stick double-sided tape on the molding according to the assembly drawing.
b) Remove the protective paper tape from the back of the double-sided adhesive tape.
Note: To make it easier to remove the paper tape, stick a paper strip to the edge of the tape.

c) Install the side molding on the door.
Note: if the double-sided tape is difficult to stick (for example, at sub-zero temperatures), then heat the surface of the body in the place where the adhesive tape is attached to 40 - 60°C, and the molding to 20 - 30°C.
d) Press firmly on the side molding to adhere.
