Removal and installation
- Parts are removed in the order of the numbers shown in the figure "Removing linings and moldings".
Removing linings and moldings (sedan). 1 - roof wicking molding, 2 - triangular panel, 3 - front bumper molding cover, 4 - front bumper molding, 5 - front bumper trim, 6 - front fender molding, 7 - front side door molding, 8 - rear side door molding, 9 - side molding, 10 - rear bumper molding cover, 11 - rear bumper molding (remove rear bumper assembly), 12 - rear bumper pad.

− When removing parts, pay attention to the following operations:
1. Removing the drainage molding of the roof.
To remove the molding, pry it off with the special tool.
Attention: if the molding is deformed during removal, then its re-installation is not allowed.
2. Removing the side molding.
A) After removing the molding, apply masking tape on both sides, along the rest of the double-sided tape.
b) Remove the rest of the double-sided adhesive tape from the surface of the body and from the inside surface of the side molding (for re-installation).
V) Scrape off the double-sided adhesive tape with a rubber spatula or scraper.
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
− When installing the parts, pay attention to the installation procedure of the side molding.
Note: The double-sided adhesive tape sticks to the side molding (when reinstalling).
A) Apply double-sided adhesive tape to the molding according to the assembly drawing.
b) Peel off the protective paper tape from the back of the double-sided tape.
Note: To make it easier to remove the paper tape, stick a paper strip on its edge.
V) Install the side molding on the door.
Note: If the double-sided tape is hard to stick (For example, at negative temperatures), then heat the surface of the body in the place attached with adhesive tape to 40 - 60°C, and the molding to 20 - 30°C.
G) Press firmly on the side molding to adhere.
