Assembling the piston and piston seal ring

Before assembly, wash the piston and cylinder with alcohol or the brake fluid used.

Lubricate the piston sealing ring and the special tool with brake fluid.

Brake fluid used: D0T3 or D0T4.

Place the piston seal ring on a special mandrel so that the sharp edge faces upward and then, lowering it down the mandrel, install it in the piston groove.

Caution! To avoid twisting or distorting the piston seal ring during installation, lower it slowly and carefully, in one motion without stopping.
