The ASTC-ECU regularly checks the incoming and outgoing signals. If an error is detected, the ECU sends a signal and the ASC indicator lights up. Depending on the nature of the error, different safe mode options are activated.

For example, if the ABS system fails, the ASC system is also suspended. However, if the ASC system fails, the other systems are not switched off.

Using a special device, you can determine the fault through the diagnostic connector.
