Installing the exhaust camshaft bearing caps (Mitsubishi L200 4)

1. Install the bearing caps and tighten the mounting screws loosely.

2. After lubricating the sealing ring with engine oil, install the oil line.



Note: When installing bearing caps, pay attention to their markings. The number, orientation and affiliation to the camshaft are stamped on the cap. Marking I (Intake) - intake: E (Exhaust)-release.




3. Tighten the cover mounting screws in the order shown in the figure to the following torques:

  • medium caps: 11±1 Nm.
  • front bearing cover: 20±1 Nm.
