Removal
Remove the incandescent lamps, item 24.2.
Loosen the 4 nuts securing the light from the inside and, using a screwdriver, pull the light back. This may require applying significant force, making sure not to damage the parts. Remove the rubber gasket between the light and the body.
Installation
Replace any porous or damaged gaskets or cracked headlight lenses immediately, otherwise water will leak into the interior.

Cars manufactured since 9.88. Wash off the remains of the sealing compound from the body and the lamp with clean gasoline or another solvent. Apply new sealant 3M ATD Nr.8625 MITSUBISHI or equivalent to the lamp, see the figure. Allow the sealant to overlap by 1-2 cm at the edges.
Place the lantern with the gasket and secure it from the inside.
Install incandescent lamps.
