- Acid-protective grease, such as BOSCH-Polfett.
- Steel wire brush (brush for cleaning poles and terminals).
- Hydrometer.
- Distilled water.
Cleaning the battery poles
Clean battery poles and connection terminals and lubricate with acid-proof grease.
Checking the electrolyte level
Check the electrolyte level after about 4 weeks.
Caution: Do not expose the battery to naked flames. Explosive!
- The electrolyte level must be between the top (UPPER LEVEL) and lower (LOWER LEVEL) marks.
- To top up, open the caps of the jars.
Attention: Use only distilled water for topping up.
