- Acid-protective grease, for example BOSCH-Polfett.
- Steel wire brush (brush for cleaning poles and terminals).
- Hydrometer.
- Distilled water.
Cleaning the battery terminals
Clean the battery terminals and connection terminals and lubricate with acid-proof grease.
Checking the electrolyte level
Check the electrolyte level after approximately 4 weeks.
Warning: Do not expose the battery to open flame. Explosive!
- The electrolyte level should be between the top (UPPER LEVEL) and lower (LOWER LEVEL) marks.
- To top up, open the caps of the cans.
Caution: Use only distilled water for refilling.
