Removal
Remove the upper part of the intake manifold, see p. 1.10.
Disconnect wire "1".
Disconnect the current bus "2".
Remove glow plug "3".
Caution: After unscrewing the glow plug by hand, remove it carefully, as its ceramic part is fragile. Do not drop the glow plug. If the glow plug falls from a height of 10 cm or more, the glow plug can no longer be stripped.
Check the glow plug for external visible damage.
Installation
Carefully screw in the glow plug by hand and tighten to 15-20 Nm.
Caution: Do not exceed the specified tightening torque, as this may damage the heating rod and cause the glow plug to fail prematurely. Make sure that no oil or fuel gets on the glow plug. If the rod is burnt, follow the instructions above.
Lightly tighten the busbar and electrical connection.
