Turn the ignition on and off. You should hear the valve click.
If there was no click, check for current in the wires with the ignition on. If there is no current, locate the defect using the electrical diagram.

Remove the connector from the valve and use two auxiliary wires to apply battery voltage directly to the valve. The valve should now click.
Connect the ohmmeter to the valve contact and to the valve body. The required value is 9-12 Ohms at a temperature of about 20°C.
If no defect is found, remove the wires and unscrew the valve.
Screw in a new valve with a new sealing ring and tighten. Put on the wire.
