Operations to be performed before removing the generator



Remove the protective cover.

Remove the front suspension strut cross member.

Remove the drive belt.

Remove the air filter.

Operations to be performed after installation of the generator



Install the air filter.

Install the drive belt.

Install the front suspension strut cross member.

Adjust the drive belt tension.

Install the protective cover.



Removal the gear selection and shift cables and cable mounting bracket

Loosen the cable bracket mounting bolt (the cables are secured to the bracket), remove the cables and cable bracket.



Removal the Generator Set





After removing the generator mounting bolts and nuts, move the generator toward the gearbox. The generator unit is removed upwards, through the gap formed by the gearbox and intake manifold.
