Running in a new car (Mitsubishi Galant 6)

In order to ensure the reliability and durability of the vehicle in operation, the following rules must be followed during the first 600 km of mileage:

• a) Do not start off at full throttle, avoid sudden acceleration;
• b) Do not brake too sharply. Normal running-in of new brake pads occurs over a 300 km run, during which time you should, if possible, brake smoothly and with moderate intensity.

After repairing or replacing the engine, as well as after replacing the brake pads, it is necessary to observe similar restrictions and recommendations.
