Note: Check the number of marks previously applied to the screw heads (there should be no more than four marks). Washers installed on screws should be oriented with the chamfer facing up - toward the screw head. Before installation, lubricate the screws and washers with a small amount of motor oil.
Cylinder head mounting screw tightening procedure
1. Using a torque wrench, tighten the screws to a torque of 78±2 Nm (in pairs, in the order shown in the figure).
2. Loosen the tightened screws completely in reverse order.
3. Tighten the screws again in order to a torque of 29±2 Nm.

4. Apply paint to mark the bolt heads and the cylinder head plane (see Fig. M2 2.072 position A).
5. Finally tighten the screws by turning them 90° so that the marks are aligned (see Fig. M2 2.072 position B).
Installation of all previously removed elements is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
