Note: check the number of marks previously made on the screw heads (labels should be no more than four). The washers mounted on the screws should be oriented with the chamfer up - towards the screw head. Lubricate the screws and washers with a little engine oil before installing.
Cylinder head bolt tightening procedure
1. Using a torque wrench, tighten the screws to 78±2 Nm (in pairs, in the order shown in the figure).
2. Completely loosen the tightened screws in reverse order.
3. Re-tighten the screws in sequence to 29±2 Nm.
4. Paint a mark on the bolt heads and cylinder head plane (see fig. M2 2.072 position A).
5. Finally tighten the screws by turning 90" so that the marks are on the same line (see fig. M2 2.072 position B).
Installation of all previously removed elements is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
