
Install the automatic tensioner mechanism, the lever with the roller and, aligning the pulley marks, put the belt on the pulleys (without sagging) in the following sequence.
1. Crankshaft pulley.
2. Idler roller.
3. Fuel injection pump pulley.
4. Idler roller.
5. Camshaft pulley.
6. Automatic tensioner roller.
Note: After placing the belt on the crankshaft pulley, slide the pulley along the key until it stops (to the working position).

Check again that the pulley marks are aligned correctly.
Remove the locking pin from the automatic tensioner mechanism housing.
Turn the crankshaft 2 turns clockwise and measure the amount of protrusion of the automatic tensioner rod, which should be within 2.3-7.6 mm.
Check again that the pulley marks are aligned correctly.
