Note: If you plan to continue using this belt, before removing it, mark an arrow with chalk on its non-working surface indicating the direction of rotation of the pulleys.
Turn the crankshaft clockwise, aligning all timing marks to set the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC position.
Move the automatic tensioner pulley to the side and carefully remove the belt from the pulleys.
Unscrew and remove the auto tensioner.
Caution: After removing the automatic tensioner, store it in an upright position.
