Removal and installation



− Before starting to remove parts, remove the lower part of the center console (see chapter "Body").

- Removal of parts is carried out as shown in the figure.

Note: Be careful when removing the deceleration sensor, do not drop the sensor or damage it with other parts.

− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

− After completing the installation of the parts, install the lower part of the center console (see chapter "Body").

Examination



1. Disconnect the harness connector from the deceleration sensor and connect the test lead harness.

2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position and measure the voltage between terminals "2" and "ground" of the sensor connector.

Nominal value - 2.4 - 2.6S



3. Turn the sensor so that the arrow on its body points downwards and measure the voltage between terminals "2" and "ground" of the sensor connector.



Nominal value - 3.3 -3.7V



4. If the measured voltage does not correspond to the nominal value, check the condition of the power supply and ground circuits of the sensor. If the circuits are in good order, replace the acceleration sensor.
