Removal
− Before you begin removing parts, perform the following operations:
- a) Drain the brake fluid.
- b) Remove the engine cover.
− The parts are removed in the order of numbers shown in the figure "Removing the ABS control unit assembly".
Removal the ABS control unit assembly. 1 - wiring harness connector, 2 - brake pipe, 3 - ABS hydraulic unit assembly, 4 - hydraulic unit bracket.
- When removing parts, pay attention to the following operations:
1. Disconnect the ABS control unit wiring harness connector.
Turn the lock as shown in the figure, disconnect the ABS control unit wiring harness connector.
Removal the ABS control unit assembly.
Attention:
- - The ABS control unit assembly is heavy, so be careful when removing it.
- − The ABS control unit assembly is a non-separable structure, therefore it is prohibited to loosen any bolts and nuts on the hydraulic unit body.
- - Do not drop or hit the ABS control unit.
- - Do not turn the ABS control unit upside down or place it on its side.
Installation
− Installation of parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- When installing the parts, pay attention to the operation of connecting the brake pipes.
Connect the pipes to the hydraulic unit as shown in the figure.
− After completing the installation of the parts, perform the following operations.
a) Fill with brake fluid.
b) Remove air from the brake hydraulic system.
