Conduct a road test.
Make a few sharp and smooth turns to see if the steering wheel returns to its original position.
When the vehicle speed is about 35 km/h, turn the steering wheel to an angle of 90°, hold it in this position for a few seconds and release. If the steering wheel returns to an angle of at least 70°, the steering wheel return can be considered satisfactory.
Note: It is possible that you will feel a "heaviness" when turning the steering wheel back, but this is normal (When the engine is idling, the supply of working fluid by the hydraulic pump is usually insufficient).
