Insert a paper clip into the engine speed sensor connector on the wiring harness side, and connect an external high-precision tachometer.

Note: To check the tachometer, use an external high-precision inductive tachometer.

Compare the readings of the vehicle tachometer and the external tachometer at all engine speeds and check for compliance with the nominal values.

Nominal values:
  • 700 min⁻¹ ±100 min⁻¹;
  • 3000 min⁻¹ ±150 min⁻¹;
  • 5000 min⁻¹ ±250 min⁻¹;
  • 6000 min⁻¹ ±300 min⁻¹.
