Bleeding the Master Cylinder
Note: There is no check valve in the master brake cylinder. Therefore, if there is no brake fluid in the master brake cylinder, it is recommended to bleed the air from the master brake cylinder before bleeding the air from the brake hydraulic lines.
1. Fill the brake fluid reservoir with brake fluid.
2. Press and hold the brake pedal.
3. Have an assistant place his finger over the outlet of the master cylinder.
4. Without opening the outlet of the master cylinder, release the brake pedal.

5. Repeat steps "2" - "4" three or four times to fill the internal cavities of the master cylinder with brake fluid.
