A microcircuit with a transmitter is mounted in the head of the ignition key. When you insert the key into the ignition, the transmitter sends a signal to the control unit to allow the engine to start. This system does not allow the engine to be started using another key or by shorting the ignition switch wires. The engine will start only if the transmitter signal matches the registered signal.

Otherwise, the engine may not start or may stall after starting.
