Install the charging valve with the handle pulled back all the way (valve open) on the charging cylinder.
Install the adapter valve with the handle pulled back all the way (valve closed) onto the charging valve.
Connect the charging hose (blue) to the adapter valve.
Connect the charging hose (blue) to the quick release connector (low pressure).
Tighten the charging valve handle (valve closed) to pierce the charging cylinder.
Turn the valve adapter handle to remove air.
Connect the quick release coupling (for low pressure) to the low pressure service valve.
Caution! The low pressure service valve must be connected to the supply hose.
Start the engine.
Turn on the air conditioner, set the minimum temperature mode (MAX. COOL).
Maintain engine speed at 1500 min⁻¹.
Tighten the adapter valve handle (valve open), fill the system with refrigerant, monitoring its level through the sight glass.
After filling the system with refrigerant, turn the valve-adapter handle all the way back (valve closed) and disconnect the quick-release connector.
Caution! If there is any refrigerant left in the charging cylinder, store it until the next refill by tightly closing the adapter valve.
Emptying system
To empty the system, it is recommended to use a special installation for regenerating the air conditioning system.
