2. On Precis models manufactured in 1989 and earlier, remove the adjustment lever screw cover, unscrew the screw and detach the lever (see illustration).

15.2b....unscrew the screw and disconnect the mirror adjustment lever
3. On other models, use a screwdriver to remove the decorative cover from the inside of the door just opposite the mirror (see illustration).
4. Unscrew the three mounting screws, disconnect the electrical connector (electric mirrors) and remove the mirror.
5. Perform installation in reverse order.
