Arrange the compression ring gaps, expander gap and oil scraper ring gap as shown in the figure.



Turn the crankshaft so that the crankpin of the corresponding cylinder is set to the TDC position.

Lubricate the surfaces of the piston rings and piston with a small amount of engine oil, put protective tubes on the connecting rod bolts.



Using a piston ring compression mandrel, install the piston into the cylinder in accordance with the marks (according to cylinder type and installation direction).
