Position the compression ring gaps, expander gap, and oil scraper gap as shown.
Rotate the crankshaft until the connecting rod journal of the respective cylinder is at TDC.
Lubricate the surfaces of the piston rings and piston with a small amount of engine oil, put protective tubes on the connecting rod bolts.
Using a piston ring compression tool, install the piston into the cylinder according to the marks (according to cylinder affiliation and installation direction).
