Disassembly of the alczalid is carried out in the order shown in Fig. M2 5.038. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.

Outer race of the front bearing of the main gear drive shaft-pinion; 5. Main gear shaft; 6. Rear adjusting washer of the main gear drive shaft-pinion; 7. Inner race of the rear bearing of the main gear drive shaft-pinion; 8. Intermediate ring of the main gear drive shaft-pinion; 9. Front adjusting washer of the main gear drive shaft-pinion; 10. Main gear drive shaft assembly; 11. Inner race of the front bearing of the main gear drive shaft-pinion; 12. Oil seal (replace with a new one during assembly); 13. Connecting flange; 14. Washer; 15. Assembly is carried out in the order shown in Fig. M2 5.039.

Measuring the clearance in the gear engagement of the main transmission



The clearance in the gear engagement is measured using a suitable measuring device (such as that shown in Fig. M2 5.041). The clearance value should be between 0.11 and 0.16 mm.



Measuring wear in the engagement of satellites and side gears of a differential transmission



Measure the clearance in the engagement of the satellites and side gears using a suitable measuring device, having first fixed the axle gear with a wedge (see Fig. M2 5.042). The clearance value should be from 0.01 to 0.250 mm.
