Features of work on removing and installing manual transmission
Installing the reaction rod cushion
1. Pre-tighten the mounting screws.
2. Tighten the outer and inner mounting screws so that the gap (A) is approximately 10 mm.
3. Check the size of the gaps (B). These gaps should be the same and equal to approximately 6 mm.
A new cushion is a single unit consisting of outer and inner parts. During operation, the inner and outer parts may separate. If the geometric dimensions of the cushion are not violated, this is normal.
