Removal
Remove the steering tip.

Release the clamps at both ends of the cuff.
Tighten the rubber cuff.
Caution: As a result of long-term use of a defective cuff, contamination may penetrate. Together with the lubricant, they act as a grinding paste and destroy the steering gear. In this case, as well as if there are traces of corrosion on the toothed rack, the steering gear is subject to repair (work in a workshop).
Installation

Lightly lubricate the steering rod "C".
Lubricate the sealing area of the "B" cuff from the inside with silicone grease "E" and pull it onto the steering rod "C".
Secure the cuff to the rack housing "A" and to the steering rod "C" with clamps "D". Make sure that the cuff does not twist.
Install the steering tip.
Lower the car.
Check and, if necessary, adjust the toe-in.
