Note: Note the installation position of the clutch cable in the engine compartment and route the cable in the same manner during subsequent installation.

Pull out the clutch cable and turn the adjusting nut counterclockwise. This increases the free play of the cable.

Remove the clutch cable from the clutch lever, first pulling out the cotter pin and knocking out the cotter pin.
Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch pedal and pull it out towards the engine compartment.
Check the ease of movement of the clutch cable.
Make sure there is no damage to the cable sheath.
Before installation, lubricate the clutch cable. To do this, apply universal grease to the ends of the clutch cable and the connection points with the clutch lever and pedal cable.

Installation
Insert the clutch cable through the bulkhead and connect it to the pedal lever.
Connect the cable to the clutch lever and insert a new cotter pin. Adjust the clutch free play.
