Clutch and release mechanism parts (cable drive)





1. Gearbox; 2. Driven disk casing; 3. Friction disc; 4. Spring clamp; 5. Release bearing; 6. Spring lock; 7. Compaction; 8, 10. Springs; 9. Fork; 11. Fork roller; 12. Counterweight; a. Lubricate


Clutch cable





1. Cotter pin; 2. Cable; 3. Bushing


Cable



1. From the engine compartment side, feed the cable and unscrew the sheath nut, loosening the cable.

2. Disconnect the cable from the pedal and pull it into the engine compartment.

3. Raise the car.

4. Unpin the cable on the gearbox and pull it out through the hole in the crankcase lug.





5. Remove the cable by pulling it through the bushing in the bracket.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Fork and release bearing



1. Remove the gearbox.



2. Install the spring clips so that the slots face the fork eyes.

3. On the removed gearbox, remove the spring clips and remove the release bearing.



4. Knock out the spring clamps of the fork mount using a punch whose diameter exactly matches the diameter of the brackets.



5. Remove the fork shaft, seals, both springs and the fork, remembering the order in which these parts were installed.

6. Remove the counterweight if necessary.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

8. Replace the fork spring clips.

8. Lubricate the fork shaft 25–37 mm from the ends on both sides.



9. Lubricate the release bearing in the areas indicated by the hatching.

10. Also lubricate the rubbing surfaces of the fork eyes.
