Removal and installation



1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Release the bleed nipple and drain the liquid into a container.

3. Disconnect the hose fitting, unscrew the 2 bolts and remove the slave cylinder.

4. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

5. Replace the fitting gaskets and tighten the fitting bolt to a torque of 20–25 N·m, the mounting bolts to 31–42 N·m.

6. Remove air from the hydraulic drive.

Disassembly and assembly



1. Remove the valve and spring from the hydraulic drive hole.

2. Remove the pusher and seals.

3. Push the piston out with compressed air, taking precautions.

4. Check the condition of the cylinder surface, the presence of corrosion and scratches, check the condition of the piston seal.

5. Replace worn parts.

6. When assembling, lubricate the piston and cylinder with brake fluid.

7. Tighten the cylinder mounting bolts to 35 Nm, the union bleed screw to 22 Nm, and tighten the bleed screw to 8 Nm.

8. Lubricate the thrust surface of the pusher.

9. Remove air from the hydraulic drive.
