Since the hydraulic clutch system runs on brake fluid, you should also read the related material in the section "Removal of air from the brake system".
Raise the car in front see par. 29.
Check the brake fluid level in the clutch reservoir and, if necessary, add brake fluid to the mark "max".
Remove the boot from the air release valve on the working cylinder.
Carefully ensure that the valve rotates freely.
Lower the free end of the hose into a container half filled with brake fluid; The end of the hose must be below the liquid level.
Slowly depress the clutch pedal several times (helper needed).
Keep the pedal depressed and turn off the air release valve screw until the brake fluid begins to exit. Then close the valve again.
Release the clutch pedal, press and hold again in this position. Open the air release valve and close again. Repeat this process until there are no air bubbles in the escaping brake fluid. In this case, you should constantly add brake fluid to the compensation tank.
Remove the hose, put the boot on the air release valve.
Add brake fluid to the expansion tank up to the mark "max".
lower the car, see par. 29.
Make a test drive and check the operation of the clutch. The gears should shift easily, without grinding, otherwise repeat the air removal process or determine another possible cause from the diagnostic table.
