1. The hydraulic system must be bled to remove air from it.
2. Fill the reservoir with fresh D0T3 brake fluid.
3. Remove the cap from the outlet valve and connect a tube to it, the other end of which is lowered into a container with brake fluid.
4. Have an assistant depress the clutch pedal. Open the outlet valve and wait for the fluid to drain through the hose. Close the valve when the pedal is all the way down. Then ask the assistant to release the pedal.
5. Continue bleeding until all air is removed from the system. Keep an eye on the fluid level in the reservoir.
6. Install the dust cap and lower the vehicle to the ground.
