1. The hydraulic system must be bled to remove air from it.
2. Fill the reservoir with fresh D0T3 brake fluid.
3. Remove the cap from the release valve and connect a tube to it, lowering the other end into a container with brake fluid.
4. Ask an assistant to depress the clutch pedal. Open the release valve and wait for the fluid to drain through the hose. Close the valve when the pedal is all the way down. Then ask the assistant to release the pedal.
5. Continue bleeding until all air is removed from the system. Monitor the fluid level in the reservoir.
6. Install the dust cap and lower the vehicle to the ground.
