Removing
10.1 When the car is on the ground, unscrew the nut securing the hub to the axle shaft
1. Turn off a nut of fastening of a nave to a half shaft. Raise the car and remove the wheel (10.1).
2. Remove the hub nut.
3. Turn off two bolts and disconnect the lower lever from the spherical joint or the spherical joint from a rotary pin.
10.4a Use a puller to remove the axle shaft - do not hit the end of the axle shaft with a hammer
4. Remove the axle shaft from the hub using a puller, then move the stub axle to the side and remove the end of the axle shaft from the hub (10.4a and 10.4b).
10.4b Move the pin to the side and get the end of the axle shaft
10.5 Be careful when disconnecting the axle shaft from the gearbox, so as not to damage the oil seal, which is located very close
5. Get the inner end of the axle shaft from the gearbox (10.5).
6. While supporting the CV joint, carefully remove the axle shaft from the vehicle.
Installation
10.7 Replace the circlip at the inner end of the shaft
7. Remove the old retaining ring from the inner end of the axle shaft and install a new retaining ring (10.7). Lubricate the oil seal and install the axle shaft in the gearbox.
8. Lubricate the splines of the outer CV joint with multifunctional grease, move the pivot pin to the side and install the end of the axle shaft into the hub.
9. Install the ball joint to the lower control arm or stub axle.
10. Install a new large washer and axle shaft nut. Tighten the nut securely.
11. Grasp the inner CV joint and try to get the end of the axle shaft out of the gearbox to check the reliability of the half shaft fixation.
12. Install the wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground.
13. Tighten the axle shaft nut to the required tightening torque.
