Half shafts — general description and inspection (Mitsubishi Colt 2)
1. The drive is transmitted from the gearbox to the wheels via the axle shafts. Constant velocity joints (CV joints) are installed at the ends of the axle shafts. The joints are protected by covers that must be periodically checked for damage, cuts, or signs of grease leakage.
