The electrical equipment is designed to be powered from the positive pole of a 12 V battery, the negative pole is connected to ground. The body electrical equipment is installed using wires of gauges 1, 2, 4, 6, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18. Wires of gauges 4 and 6 are used to power the electrical equipment (battery and alternator power cables, gauges 1 and 2 are rarely used), 10 and 12.

The electrical system has an operating voltage of 12 volts and uses negative grounding. Power for the headlights and all other electrical components comes from a lead-acid battery, which is recharged by the generator.

It should be noted that when working on the electrical system, it is necessary to disconnect the negative battery terminal wire to prevent short circuit and/or fire.

Caution: If your car stereo has a coding system, make sure you know the activation code for the stereo before disconnecting the battery.
