Perform a ground reliability test to check the reliability of the connection of the electrical component to the vehicle ground.
1. Disconnect the battery and connect one of the continuity tester wires to the vehicle ground.
2. Connect the second wire to the connection or ground point to be tested.
3. If the indicator light comes on, the grounding is OK.
