Since some models of circuit breakers turn themselves back on after being turned off, in the event of an overload in the circuit, the switched off switch will momentarily disconnect the circuit and then return it to working condition. If the switch does not turn back on, check the electrical circuit immediately. Keep in mind, however, that some circuit breakers must be reset manually after they have tripped.

Once the source of the fault in the circuit is eliminated, the circuit breaker will operate normally.
