Removal and installation



Front Speakers (1983-91)



1. Disconnect the battery from ground.

2. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the speaker from the back of the front panel, disconnecting the wires.

3. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Rear speakers



In the 2-door version, the speakers are mounted on the side of the body in front of the rear wheel well. On a 4-door body, the speakers are mounted above the rear wheel well.

1. Disconnect the battery from ground

2. Loosen the screws and remove the speaker grille, then loosen the screws and remove the speaker from the bracket, disconnect the wires.

Cars 1992-98.



These models are equipped with 6 speakers: 2 at the bottom corners of the dashboard, 2 on the front doors and 2 behind the rear wheel arches. The door and rear speakers are covered with waterproof housings.

1. To remove, disconnect the battery from the ground, unscrew the screws and remove the speaker trim, then take out the speaker and disconnect the wires.

2. To remove the door and rear speakers, you should also remove the decorative door panels and body sides, respectively.
