Warning! Brake pads must be replaced on both front or rear wheels at the same time. Dust from worn brake pads contains asbestos, which is hazardous to health. Do not inhale it
1. Pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir.
2. Set the handbrake on the car. Raise the car.
3. Remove the wheels.
4. Inspect the surface of the brake disc.

5. The procedure for replacing the pads varies between models (3.5a, 3.5b, 3.5c, 3.5g, 3.5d and 3.5e)
Sumitomo calipers (Precis models)
3.6a Remove the protective plate
3.6b Clean the brakes with a cleaning solution
3.6v Disconnect the M-clip from the outer brake lining...
3.6g...then remove the clamp
3.6d Using pliers, remove the K-clamp
3.6e Take out both fingers
3.6g Using a clamp, press the inner lining against the caliper to lower the piston into the cylinder to provide additional space for installing new linings
3.6з Remove the brake pads from the caliper
3.6i Remove the noise-proof pads
3.6k Before installing new pads, apply anti-noise compound to the back of the pads
3.6L Install new pads and fasteners

Calipers for all other models
3.7 Using a clamp, press the piston into the cylinder
7. Using a C-clamp, press the piston deep into the caliper (3.7).
3.8 Remove the lower mounting bolt or pin
8. Remove the lower mounting bolt or lower pin (3.8).
3.9 Raise the caliper and hang it up
9. Raise the support and tie it up (3.9).
3.10 Remove the brake pads
10. Remove the pads from the caliper bracket (3.10).
11. Lower the piston into the caliper using the handle of a hammer.
12. Lubricate the back side of the brake pads with anti-noise grease.
13. Install the spring clamps on the bracket. Install the noise-damping pad on the outer pad (3.5a, 3.5b, 3.5c, 3.5g, 3.5d) and install the pads on the bracket.
14. Lower the caliper onto the pads and install the lower mounting bolt or pin, tightening it to the specified torque.
All models
15. After replacing the pads, depress the brake pedal several times.
16. Check the fluid level in the tank.
