Removing
1. Raise the car and remove the wheel.
2. Remove the brake pads.
3. Clean the wheel cylinder and the area around it.
6. Remove the wheel cylinder from the brake shield and cover the end of the brake tube.
Bulkhead
7.4 Unscrew the brake pipe connection, then unscrew the two fixing bolts of the wheel cylinder (indicated by arrows)
7.7 Wheel cylinder components
1. Case; 2. Piston and cap; 3. Piston; 4. Cap; 5. Cylinder; 4. Unscrew the nut connecting the brake pipe (7.4); 5. Unscrew the fixing bolts of the cylinder
7. Unscrew the exhaust screw, remove the pistons and covers from the cylinder (7.7). Remove seals from pistons.
8. Clean the cylinder with brake fluid or alcohol.
9. Blow out the cylinder passages with compressed air.
10. Check the inside of the cylinder for corrosion or scratches.
11. Lubricate new seals with clean brake fluid.
12. Assemble wheel cylinder elements.
Installation
13. Lubricate the cylinder mounting location on the brake shield with silicone grease, install the cylinder and mounting bolts.
14. Connect the brake pipe and tighten the connection nut, then tighten the cylinder mounting bolts to the required torque.
15. Bleed the brakes.
16. Check the operation of the brakes.
