Caution: Use only genuine MITSUBISHI coolants or proprietary ethylene glycol-based anti-corrosion agents. The coolant concentrate (CC) used must be suitable for aluminum parts. Alcohol-based antifreezes must not be used.
Since the anti-corrosion additive in the coolant loses its properties over time, the coolant should be changed as part of the maintenance, see the section "Maintenance". The coolant should also be changed when replacing aluminum parts of the cooling system, such as the cylinder head.
To obtain the correct concentration, the manufacturer's instructions must be followed. In the latitudes of Germany, frost resistance must be ensured down to at least -30°C.
Note: It is recommended to dilute the cooling concentrate with distilled or mineral-free (soft) water.
Coolant mixture concentration:

Note: If the proportion of cooling concentrate exceeds 60%, both frost resistance properties and engine cooling properties are reduced.
