Remove the relay from the relay box.
Apply battery voltage to contacts 1 and 2 of the relay as shown in the figure. At the same time, connect an ohmmeter to contacts 3 and 4. The resistance should be 0 Ohm.
Turn off the voltage, the resistance between contacts 3 and 4 should be ∞.
Check the resistance between contacts 1 and 2 - the battery voltage must be disconnected. The required value is 0 Ohm.
