Checking the radiator cap (Mitsubishi Pajero 4)

1. Remove the radiator cap, wet the seal with coolant, then install the tester.



2. Create a pressure of 93-123 kPa.

3. Check the pressure drop.

4. Replace the cap if the pressure drops.

Note: Make sure the radiator cap is clean before checking (free from contamination), since rust or other foreign matter on the cover gasket may cause incorrect pressure gauge readings.
