- When removing the radiator cap tester from the radiator filler neck, be careful not to allow coolant to splash (flow out).
- When connecting and disconnecting the tester, as well as during testing, be careful not to deform the radiator filler neck.
2. Check for rust deposits around the radiator cap and for oil in the coolant. If any are present, this is a sign of poor coolant properties.
Note: If the coolant is too dirty, replace the coolant.
3. Install the radiator cap.
